Select Your Wine Experience at Torre Bisenzio

Learn how our organic/biodynamic wines are made with indigenous grape varietals on a terroir comprising of sedimentary clay, gravel sands and alluvial silt with marine fossils, which 4 million years ago was under the sea. You will walk through our vineyards, where we will explain how we work with the soil and vines to sustain our organic/biodynamic certification and the difference that makes to the quality of the grapes. A tour of our new cantina will help you understand how we turn the grapes into wine and the variety of techniques we use including whole bunch fermentation and our amphora tanks. We will also explain how we use some techniques of precision viticulture technology. At the end of this tour, you will get to see the magnificent views from the terrace, taste our wines and olive oil paired with local produce.

Weather permitting, we will hold the wine tasting on the terrace of our brand-new wine tasting room overlooking spectacular views of Umbria and Tuscany, including views of the local calanchi. Otherwise, it will be held inside, with panoramic views of Cetona and Citta della Pieve.

  We had such a great time at Torre Bisenzio! Sabina was an amazing host — super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the wines and the area. She also makes delicious carbonara! The tasting itself was relaxed and fun, and every wine we tried was delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a stylish, welcoming space inside. It was the perfect mix of elegance and comfort — definitely a highlight of our trip!

  We had such a lovely time! Vanessa was incredibly charismatic and shared so much interesting information about the domain and the wines. The wines were absolutely delightful – especially the Ambris, which was our favorite! Lunch was also excellent and beautifully prepared.

  Had the most spectacular tasting at Torre Bisenzio! We made the mistake of not making a reservation and were still welcomed with open arms to the beautiful tasting room, and got to taste their fantastic wines. Definitely made for a memorable afternoon! If you’re in the area, make a reservation and enjoy a great tasting experience.

  Un'oasi di pace e silenzio vicino a Orvieto. Cena con degustazione di un ottimo livello con musica e tante risate.
Il posto è stupendo, peccato che era sera, altrimenti avrei potuto godere del panorama che mi hanno detto essere molto bello.

  Wow where do i begin, This is one of the best winery we have visited while we were in Tuscany. The winery was absolutely gorgeous, we have visited it with my fiance during our trip to Italy. Sabina was our host and she was absolutely amazing, she treated us like family. We got to try variety of wines ( red, white, rose and sparkling wine) , which were honestly some of the best wines we had. The food is freshly made onsite, we had so many cheeses, cold cuts, eggplant parmesan , home made jams and burrata , authentic home made pasta with ragout, picci pasta with fresh shaved truffles , was some of the best food we had in all of Italy.
